Emergency Oxygen Provider
Knowing how and when to use emergency oxygen is a great skill to have and means you’re ready to help others should the need arise. Becoming a Emergency Oxygen Provider lets you breathe easy knowing that you can recognize SCUBA diving illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen, and are prepared to offer aid. There are no prerequisites or age restrictions. This course is open to everyone and takes just one day
Gaining the Knowledge
This will be a comprehensive and very informative training program. At your own pace, you'll work your way through the different sections including; dive injuries, different types of emergency oxygen equipment and safety considerations when using oxygen. This portion takes between 12-15 hours.
Then you’ll practice; assembling and disassembling emergency oxygen equipment, deploying a non-rebreather mask on a breathing diver, using demand inhalator valve on a breathing diver qnd finally using a pocket mask on a nonbreathing diver. This portion takes just one day.

These courses are in-depth, comprehensive and very informative training programs. The Specialty Diver Courses go beyond what each Adventure dive teaches you in Advanced Open Water.
