The Tampa Bay area is famous for diving. Extensive artificial reef building programs have began here since the sixties to improve marine environment, coral growth, fish life and adventure for divers of all ages and levels. The waters of the Gulf of Mexico are warm which provides for excellent coral growth and perfect conditions for huge schools of game fish. The Boat
We take you to the best dive sites where you will be sure to get most out of your day of diving. We don’t operate a cattle boat; we keep our tours to a small and personal level. The boat is a Glacier Bay Canyon Runner 260 with Twin Mercury 150 Four Strokes and new Sea Star steering. Family friendly with forward seating and one of the most comfortable dive/fish/sandbar boats with a step through transom and ladder with large handrails. 18 tank racks with a dive bench and tons of deck space to enjoy the ride. The Weather Forecast
Thank goodness for great Florida weather. We want to dive just like you. By being weather nerds, we get to dive more. Using technology, SCUBA Heroes makes sure you are always going to the location with the best conditions as well as avoiding weather that would make for a bad experience. We feel that nothing should be more important than your safety and dive experience. Our dive sites are sheltered from the most severe storms thankfully, due to our unique location halfway up the state on the west side of Florida. Smaller storms in Florida unusually pass within a two - three hour window which means we rarely have to cancel charters. LEARN MORE
